That obituary annoyed me greatly. To fill an obit for a physicist as great as Wheeler with all that anti-nuke crap was just typical of the vapid rag that the LAT has become.

Not me though. It reminded me of when my uncle was teaching me chess. He said the best sound you can hear in a game is your opponent cursing you out. Then you know you did well.

I know Bohr was very keen on bringing the Russians on board during Manhattan project and he was concerned with peaceful use of atomic energy but the quote below confused me...
