posted 02-25-2008 03:56 PM             A quick read of the obit of Robbe-Grillet and I note that he was responsible for The Last Year at Marienbad. This beautiful but frustrating movie was in a class by itself . I first saw it during the 60's and was interested in the game that was played repeatedly. At that time i was able to solve the mystery of the game (but not the plot). I tried again more recently and failed both . Age I guess.
