I am absolutely blown away that Stickland is supporting this. [This message has been edited by Sam Mc Kee (edited 05-28-2008).] IP: Logged |

Ryan Frederick charged with capital murder, so he'll probably be facing the death penalty for growing Japanese maples and the police's own incompetence. It is without a doubt that Detective Jarrod Shivers would be alive and with his family today if they had not executed a no-knock raid. Stupid cops. ------------------ IP: Logged |

This morning at 6:30 six big, surly-looking Federal Marshals came to my house looking for my former tenant. It has been something like three or four years since he last lived here. IP: Logged |

This post will probably label me as the sexist-pig that I probably am. Women in command with women subordinates make futile and pointless decisions. And, yes, I know that is painting with a very broad brush and does not apply everywhere. I am in the process of dealing with a chain of command that cannot get jack done because they will not make a decision. Lanier is about a 90 degree difference, she's just an idiot. And makes stupid as policy. I have been (forced) watching this moron try to run the DC police force since she was inaugurated. It has been very ugly. I will get uglier until someone with competence replaces her. ------------------ IP: Logged |

It is rather ironic that the original idea behind the District of Columbia was to make one tiny part of the nation devoid of politics. IP: Logged |

quote: Which is why the idea of reintegrating the non-federal portions back into MD/VA sounds like a great idea - but neither state wishes the mess. Especially me in MD, the sections we'd get back are so infested that the mind boggles. Oh, and VA said, buh-bye a long time ago. Ever note that the 100 sq mi SQUARE isn't? ------------------ IP: Logged |
