That would be a likely first order response, but ensuing price rises could serve to hasten nuclear additions.

[For the benefit of the enviro-weenies, no I'm not fogetting "alternative" power. There is no alternative to fossil-fired power beyond nuclear. Other power sources may supplement fossil and nuclear but they are not alternatives on anything other than a boutique scale.]
