"My great grandmother did not have access to Planned Parenthood"

I, too, find it lamentable that Chelsea Clinton's forebears did not have better access to birth control.

She isn't that bright, is she?

Maybe she's having a little quarrel with Hillary and this is her little tantrum way of saying she wishes she were dead?

Well, would you have wanted to grow up with Bill and Hillary as YOUR parents?

When I was involved with OB at Houston's Jefferson Davis Hospital during the early to mid 50's, it was still common for the charity patients to have seven or more pregnancies http://www.cdc.gov/mmwr/preview/mmwrhtml/mm4847a1.htm

According to my mother, my great-great aunt gave birth in a field while tending to a crop. No such thing as maternity leave if you were a peasant farmer in Hungary in the late 19th century.

I think you are confused. That was my great great grandmother in Bohemia.

My great-great-grandmother gave birth to a full-term baby five months after her marriage. The child was not her husband's: She had been raped by a sailor on the ship that brought her to America.

In that era -- gotta admire her fiance.
