I don't think there was this much animosity after Obama's election, or any other, at least not that I recall. YouTube is full of Millennials crying and hiccoughing and swearing they're going to kill themselves and whining that someone needs to stop this now! The hashtag, #NotMyPresident has been floated around, with some comments trying to liken all of this to Obama's win and conservatives not being happy about it, but again, I don't recall violent riots from conservatives when Obama was elected. One Hispanic friend on FB has reported that her daughters have been harassed since the election, but I don't know the details. I do know that she blames Trump. Someone posted a picture of a school sign defaced with a swastika and the words, 'Make White America Great' or very similar, from the same area as the Hispanic friend.

I didn't know South Dakotans could be that offensive.

Just checked. My second-born is sharing a video entitled, 'This is how Ronald Reagan handled protesters.' Link. 46 seconds.

Thus beginneth the "Blame Trump" movement. George W will be relieved that not everything is his fault anymore. "It's Trump's fault" is the new mantra.

Nah, that's covered. Trump is Bush's fault, so everything Trump does is still Bush's fault.

I was at a housewarming party Saturday night, and I expected just about everybody there would upset. Even though they were all old friends I was a little afraid to go. All went well. It occurs to me that gays and Hispanics and Muslims just might have irrational fears too.

I disagree. I think he said one great Great Wall. As in a great version of a great wall such as China's.
:P

Hm. The writer thinks Trump's inaugural speech was 'bleak.' I didn't, and neither did my friend on the other end of my phone - we decided to watch together despite being two days' driving apart. Seriously, I'm not seeing anything bleak.

Well. *blink* *blink* What a subtly negative-ish article. Is this the next conspiracy theory on the horizon, or is it a one-off?
