A few weeks ago I noticed that the Green TV network appeared on my Dish program guide. I purposely avoided it until tonight when I saw that Bill Nye (The Science Guy) has a new show called Stuff. It's a whirlwind that tries to address lots of pop culture 'green' issues. Coffee is bad - because of various natural resources that are being exploited and destroyed to grow more of it. Bacon is bad because pigs are being fed fish - and the anchovy population is plummeting and birds are dying as a result. Orange Juice is bad because you must use pesticides, gasoline for transport, water for growing and processing, etc. Paper napkins are bad because of blah, blah, blah.

I sat slack-jawed for awhile and my wife grabbed the remote to watch anything else. Anyone else watch this show?

Sounds like Nye has given in to the dark side. Pity.
