So the macaque took a bunch of selfies and one of them became famous. Being taken by a non-human automatically puts the pic in the public domain, in US law. The photographer whose camera was used, has put the selfie on the cover of his new, self-published, book. PETA is suing on behalf of the macaque, wants money, says they'll use it to help that particular macaque and its tribe.
