The part I don't understand is how the History Channel can't understand how bad the History Channel has become.

Oh I'd bet there are several folks working there who understand it all too well, but they lose out to the accountants who want more reality junk that's cheaper to produce and likely more popular with the unwashed masses.

Watched a little while recovering from the shoulder repair. There were a couple of okay shows on Memorial Day. The rest was sheer suctitude. There was a show on how the barbarians were actually the good guys, featuring snippets from Jesse Jackson and other Progressive politicians.

Well then.

I'll bet virtually everyone working there was on board with this one.

I have watched a number of YouTube videos by cgp grey and whenever he describes something inexplicably stupid he flashes up the history network logo. Quite amusing.
