So this big European study came out last week and purported to show that two "acknowledged" EDCs might account for 1.4 billion Euros of healthcare costs annually. It was, of course, widely picked up and propagated in the mass media. Luckily ACSH still exists and took a few shots at the first page of the paper since it was so bad that the next 7 pages didn't warrant investigation.

Did I mention that Europe still doesn't have an agreed upon definition of what an Endocrine Disruptor is and isn't? But that doesn't stop them from labeling certain chemicals as such. Sorta like pornography I guess - we know it when we see it.
